Progress in knowledge strongly depends on the interchange between different disciplines and countries, so the earlier we start, the further we get. Artery Young Investigator Network aims to be an incubator for novel ideas and initiatives, facilitating connections for international collaborations, joint scientific projects, support and advice between peers, thus nurturing the new generation of Arteriologists.

How to join?

If you are a member of ARTERY Society and you are under 40, you simply have to fill in the application form and you will start receiving email updates about initiatives from the ARTERY Young Investigator Network.

ARTERY Young Investigator Network Chair: Dr Cédric Neutel

Cédric Neutel has recently completed his PhD on vascular (patho) physiology and arterial stiffness at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. Now, as a postdoctoral researcher, he is delving deeper into the impact of ageing on the vasculature and exploring the molecular signaling pathways implicated in arterial stiffness. His new role as the chair of the young investigator network within the Artery Society signifies his commitment to fostering collaboration among researchers in cardiovascular sciences with diverse backgrounds. Cédric recognizes the significance of interdisciplinary cooperation in advancing our comprehension of blood vessels, believing that pooling together varied expertise will enhance our collective efforts in unravelling the complexities of vascular health.
