Alun Hughes 

Alun Hughes is Professor of Cardiovascular Physiology and Pharmacology at UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Honorary Professor at University College London Hospital. He is currently Head of the Department of Population Science & Experimental Medicine in the UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science, Director of the British Heart Foundation 4-year PhD programme, and Associate Director of the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing at UCL. He has regularly attended Artery meetings for many years and co-organized the Artery meeting in London in October 2013. He, with Patrick Segers, also organized the Artery Society London Hemodynamics Seminar in June 2016. He is currently Treasurer of the Artery Society.
